General Information
The 2022-2023 Committee on Budget, Education Finance: Education Omnibus Budget Trailer Bill, AB 181, authorizes the Commission on Teacher Credentialing to allocate $20 million in one-time grants to regionally accredited institutions of higher education (IHEs) for four-year integrated teacher preparation programs, including student teaching, and/or to adapt an existing Commission-approved five-year integrated teacher preparation program to a four-year program. These grants support the planning for, creation of, or expansion of four-year integrated programs of professional preparation that produce teachers in the designated shortage fields of special education, bilingual education, science, health, computer science, technology, engineering, mathematics, transitional kindergarten, or kindergarten and/or that partner with a California community college to create an integrated program of professional preparation.
Annual Data Submission Information
As part of the mandatory data collection and reporting requirement for the Integrated Undergraduate Teacher Preparation Grant Program, institutions of higher education (IHE) grantees must provide all requested data to the Commission's for evaluation and reporting.
Please carefully read the information below about how to access and complete the data spreadsheet, and additional resources. Per legislation, annual data is required for five years upon the grant award. Data must be submitted for the following academic/fiscal years: 2023-24, 2024-25, 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28.
Data submissions are due annually on June 30th. If your team will be gone for summer, make sure the annual data is submitted beforehand with time to submit revisions, as needed.
Directions
The individually shared spreadsheet is managed by the Commission and the data will be updated annually by the IHE grantee lead during the life of the grant. Do not create and share a new spreadsheet with the Commission- it will not be reviewed.

Office Hours
For the 2024-25 academic/fiscal year, two support sessions will be offered from 2:30PM-3:30PM on October 1, 2024 and February 25, 2025. Office hours are drop-in, free flow, and no RSVP is required. Please note that the first office hours session will begin with a structured orientation session.
