Program sponsors are primarily colleges and universities, districts and county offices of education that offer or seek to offer preparation programs for California educators. Information provided on the Program Sponsors webpages reflects the work of the Professional Services Division (PSD) of the Commission. PSD is responsible for:

- development and administration of California's system of educator examinations
