All submissions must be furnished on the institution's IIA-dedicated website. Once an institution receives approval from the Commission for the Stage II submissions, the institution may continue to Stage III of the Initial Institutional Approval process.

Eligibility Requirements

Stage II includes 12 criteria to which your program must be aligned. Commission staff will review all 12 criteria responses and make recommendations to the Commission on Criteria 1-9. Staff will summarize Criteria 10-12 for the Commission but will not make recommendations.

Initial Program Preconditions

Initial Program Preconditions will be reviewed by Commission staff to determine if the preconditions are met. The two Initial Program Preconditions must be aligned prior to being presented to the Commission for consideration of Institutional Eligibility. General Precondition #9 

For IIA, only General Precondition #9 needs to be addressed. General Precondition #9 will be reviewed by Commission staff to determine if the precondition is aligned. General Precondition #9 must be aligned prior to being presented to the Commission for consideration of Institutional Eligibility. Refer to the General Preconditions Evidence Guidance.

Submission of General Precondition #9 only applies to institutions of higher education.
