    Committee of Credentials Vacancy

    The Commission on Teacher Credentialing has one School Board Member vacancy on the Committee of Credentials. The Committee reviews allegations of misconduct against educators. Applications are due by March 30, 2017.

    Integrated Undergraduate Teacher Preparation Grants

    The review of the second round of proposals for the integrated undergraduate teacher preparation planning grants has been completed. There are six proposals that may be fundable pending additional information that must be submitted by each of the institutions. None of the other proposals submitted met the requirements of the grant.

    Teacher Supply in California - A Report to the Legislature. Annual Report 2014-2015

    AB 471 requires that the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing report to the Governor and the Legislature each year on the number of teachers who received credentials, certificates, permits and waivers. This report provides data collected by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (Commission) and addresses several questions regarding the supply of teachers newly available to teach in California classrooms.
