Coded Correspondence 21-04: Credential Fee Waiver is now available.

The Commission’s Policy Manual provides for the appointment of a student enrolled in an educator preparation program to represent the views and experiences of students as a liaison to the Commission.  Interested parties must complete the application form and send it, with all additional requested documentation, to the attention of the Executive Office at the address provided on the form. More information is available via the Commission Website. Deans and Directors of California educator preparation programs are encouraged to share this information with students enrolled in preparation programs. Applications must be postmarked by July 9, 2021.

Coded Correspondence 21-03: Proposed Amendments and Additions to Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations Pertaining to Education Specialist Credentials and Bridge Authorizations is now available.

The Commission on Teacher Credentialing is seeking applications to fill vacancies for Public Member, School Administrator, and Secondary Teacher positions on the Committee of Credentials. The applications can be found on the Committee of Credentials page. The final filing date for applications is May 26, 2021.

The April 2021 Commission meeting agenda is now available.
