Coded Correspondence 19-07: Guidance Regarding New Form for Self-Revocation and Authorization Changes to Education Specialist Level I Documents is now available.

Credential Information Alert (CIA) 19-05 entitled IHE Submission of SAT and ACT Exam Scores announces that effective as of the date of this CIA, the Commission will accept SAT/ACT exam scores used for meeting the Basic Skills Requirement (BSR) from the electronic database of an institution of higher education (IHE) submitting a credential recommendation to the Commission using the CTC Online system.

The Commission has updated the Annual Report Card (Title II) dashboard pages with 2017-18 academic year data.

Coded Correspondence 19-06: Updated California Teaching Performance Assessment (CalTPA) Passing Score Standard for Use in California Teacher Preparation Programs is now available.  Coded Correspondence 19-06 replaces Coded Correspondence 18-04.

Coded Correspondence 19-05: Passing Standard for 2019-20 and Statewide Implementation of the California Administrator Performance Assessment (CalAPA) is now available.

The September 26-27, 2019 Commission Meeting Agenda is now available.

The Commission’s Policy Manual provides for the appointment of a student enrolled in an educator preparation program to represent the views and experiences of students as a liaison to the Commission. The student liaison appointment will be made by the Commission's Executive Committee at the September 26-27, 2019 Commission meeting. Interested parties must complete the application form and send it, with all additional requested documentation, to the attention of the Executive Office at the address provided on the form. More information is available via the Commission Website. Deans and Directors of California educator preparation programs are encouraged to share this information with students enrolled in preparation programs. Applications must be postmarked by August 9, 2019.
