The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

Regulations allow the holder of this initial issuance of a Child Development Permit to upgrade to a more advanced permit within three years of the issuance date of this document for one-half of the application fee in effect at the time that the application is submitted. The application must include all supporting materials to verify that the holder qualifies for the new Child Development Permit.
