The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

This is the holder's one-time two-year extension of his or her Child Development Permit. No further extensions will be issued. Before a five-year permit will be issued, the holder must verify that 105 clock hours of planned and approved professional growth activities as described in The California Professional Growth Manual for Child Development Permits have been completed since the last five-year permit was issued.
