CTC Online - Processing Recommendations

General Information

The purpose of this section is to assist the employers and institutions that prepare educators in electronically submitting applications for credential recommendations.

CTC Online is a tiered online recommendation system that starts with the Appointing Authority (Dean or Superintendent) to identify the Authorized Designee. It is the role of the Authorized Designee to select the Authorized Submitters and provide oversight while the Submitters make the actual recommendations. It is important to note that an Authorized Designee can be a Submitter as well, but this is not an automatic association.

CTC Online Forms

• CL-896 Add or Change Authorized Designee
  The Authorized Designee is responsible for identifying and providing training to Authorized Submitters.
• CL-897 Add or Change Authorized Submitter
  The Authorized Submitter submits online credential recommendations.
• Email completed forms to ctconline@ctc.ca.gov.
