The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal
of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available
only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

If the holder is again unable to complete the waived requirement(s), he or she must complete a minimum of six semester hours of course work approved as applicable toward the credential which authorizes this service by a college or university with a Commission-approved program for this credential, and must apply through the employing district, county, or agency.
