The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

  • The waived requirement is one year of work experience within the three years immediately preceding the issuance of the preliminary credential. To qualify for the credential which authorizes this service without the waiver, the holder must complete one year of service as explained on the enclosed leaflet.
