The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

  • This document has been issued on the basis of a waiver of credential requirements by the State Board of Education consistent with the authority established in Education Code Sections 33050-53 at the request of the employing agency. The holder must complete all of the requirements listed.
