The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

  • This credential has been extended so that the holder may complete a program of advanced study in school administration, including appropriate field experience, and receive the recommendation of the college or university where the program was completed. At least half of the program must be completed while the holder is employed in a position requiring this credential.
