The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

  • To renew this credential for the remainder of the two-year internship period allowed by law, the holder must complete the requirement covering the provisions and principles of the U.S. Constitution, verify subject-matter competence, continue to participate in the internship program, and apply through the supervising college or university.
