Renewal Codes

The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

Here are some examples of where the renewal code can be found on your credential if it was issued prior to September 1, 2008:

• For credentials issued through the early part of 2005 [PDF]
• For credentials issued shortly after the start of 2005 [PDF]
  

To renew this credential, the holder must complete the following requirements:#R;#I;#U;#E. Upon completion of these requirements, the holder may appeal for an additional year to complete the following:#F;#Y;#A;#H;#M;#C. When all requirements have been completed, the holder will be eligible for a clear credential.
