The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

  • HEAL

  • The holder must complete a course in health education including nutrition, the effects of abuse of alcohol, narcotics, and drugs and the use of tobacco. The holder must also complete training in CPR that meets the standards set by the American Heart Association in its B-level course or the community CPR course provided by the American Red Cross.
