The Commission on Teacher Credentialing issues various types of credentials, certificates, and permits. Many of these documents require renewal on a regular basis. It is the credential holder's responsibility to complete the requirements for the renewal of their document. The renewal code(s) and renewal requirement(s) for each credential, certificate, and permit were printed on the face of the document until September 1, 2008. Since that date, all documents issued by the Commission are available only in a view and print format, available on the Commission's website.

  • This credential extends a preliminary teaching credential for three years to allow the holder additional time to meet the requirements for a clear credential. To meet the requirements for a clear credential, the holder of this document must be in a position that allows completion of a Commission-approved induction program.
