  • University Intern Credential Program - see also Intern Program

  • A University Intern Program is a Commission-approved program of professional teacher preparation (Multiple subject, Single Subject or Education Specialist) developed and implemented by a regionally accredited college or university. The program is a cooperative effort between a school district and an institution of higher education. Intern programs must be approved by the Commission prior to enrolling students and may not be available in all school districts. The program allows credential candidates to be employed while completing a credential program. More information can be found in the Interns section of the CIG. A complete list of institutions with intern programs is available on the program sponsors dashboard found in the CIG.
