  • Prerequisite Credentials

  • A prerequisite credential is the document that an applicant must hold or qualify for in order to submit an application for a dependent credential. Some specialist and services credentials are dependent in that they require a prerequisite credential. The statutes or regulations for each dependent credential specify which credential(s) may serve as prerequisites.
