  • Intern Programs

  • An intern program allows credential candidates who have a bachelor’s degree and subject matter competency to be employed in a classroom while completing a credential program. This type of program is a cooperative effort between a local school district or county office of education and an institution of higher education. Intern programs must be approved by the Commission prior to enrolling students and may not be available in all school districts. Intern programs may be offered by Multiple Subject, Single Subject, Education Specialist, Administrative Services, and School Psychology programs.
