  • Special Education Added Authorizations

  • The Special Education Added Authorization, also known as, Added Authorization in Specialist (AASE), authorizes an individual to work with students with specific and low incidence disabilities.  The additional authorization is to supplement the knowledge and skills gained in the preliminary teacher preparation program.  The AASE may serve as a foundation to earn a full special education specialty area.
