Education Specialist Instruction Credential

The Education Specialist Instruction Credential authorizes the holder to teach in seven areas of specialization: Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Moderate/Severe Disabilities, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Visual Impairments, Physical and Health Impairments, Early Childhood Special Education, and Language and Academic Development. This credential is a basic credential and does not require a prerequisite general education teaching credential. General education course work and field work are incorporated into the teacher preparation program.
