County superintendents are required to annually collect data and monitor educator assignments for California's lowest performing schools ranked in Deciles 1, 2 and 3 of the base Academic Performance Index (API), excluding charter schools. This page includes data reported to the Commission on the numbers of initial educator misassignments and vacancies identified for these schools aggregated by state, county, school district, and school site in the 2011-12 and 2012-13 school years.
