This agenda item details modifications to the proposed amendments to 5 California Code of Regulations §80037 following action taken by the Commission at the April 10, 2014 meeting and adds an additional document to the rulemaking file.

This agenda item presents data, trends and patterns in the numbers of services credentials, permits and waivers issued in the past five years. In addition, statewide and regional demand data for school-site administrators in California will be presented by WestEd.

This agenda item presents an update on the work to revise the CPACE examination as directed by the Commission in June 2014 and also provides the proposed test structure and weighting for the revised CPACE examination for expedited route preliminary administrative services candidates for Commission review and potential approval.

This item presents an update on the implementation of the teaching performance assessment, identifies a range of policy issues relating to the design of the next generation of teaching performance assessments for California, and presents several TPA implementation policy issues for the 2014-15 academic year for the Commission’s input and potential direction.
