All times are approximate and are provided for convenience only except time specific items identified herein (i.e. Public Hearing). The order of business within each day may be changed without notice. All items may be re-ordered to be heard on any day of the noticed meeting. Persons wishing to address the Commission on Teacher Credentialing on a subject to be considered at this meeting are asked to complete a Request Card and give it to the Recording Secretary prior to the discussion of the item.

1A: Interview and Selection of Members for the Committee on Accreditation
This agenda item provides information about the finalists for open positions on the Committee on Accreditation (COA). After interviewing the finalists from institutions of higher education and K-12, the Ad Hoc Committee will select three new COA members to recommend to the Commission and may appoint additional individuals as alternates.

This agenda item presents for potential Commission adoption the draft California Administrator Performance Expectations (CAPEs) and the draft California Administrator Content Expectations, which were presented initially to the Commission in January 2013 and have since completed a field review

This item presents draft Preliminary and Induction Program Standards for the Preliminary and Clear Administrative Services Credential programs for Commission review. The item also requests approval to conduct a field review of these draft standards.

3C: Intern Credentials: Proposed Policies and Draft Regulatory Language
This is a three-part item. Part One brings proposed policies focusing on Intern Credentials for consideration and possible action; Part Two provides draft language that defines the preservice preparation requirements; Part Three provides draft regulatory language that addresses Intern programs and credential requirements for the Commission to review.

This agenda item provides a discussion of a possible cost recovery plan for some accreditation activities consistent with the Governor's proposed 2013-14 state budget for the Commission.

3E: Teacher Supply in California, 2011-2012 A Report to the Legislature 
This agenda item is in response to Assembly Bill 471 (Chap. 381, Stats. 1999) which requires the Commission to report to the Governor and the Legislature each year on the number of teachers who received credentials, certificates, permits and waivers to teach in California public schools.

Commission on Teacher Credentialing (U.S. District Court, Eastern District 2:13-at-00120). The Commission will also consider adverse actions, petitions for reinstatement and requests for reconsideration in discipline cases while in Closed Session pursuant to California Education Code sections 44245, 44248 and Government Code section 11126(e). The Commission will report out of Closed Session appropriately concerning any and all actions taken or determinations made therein.
