2A: Annual Report Card on California Teacher Preparation Programs for the Academic Year 2008-2009 as Required by Title II of the Higher Education Act
This agenda item presents the Annual Report Card on California Teacher Preparation Programs for the Academic Year 2008-2009 as required by Title II of the 2008 Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act. It is the tenth annual report and includes a description of credentialing requirements to teach in California public schools. In addition, it includes qualitative and quantitative information on teacher preparation programs, including pass rate data for all examinations used by the state for credentialing purposes.
