The order of business within each day may be changed without notice. All items may be re-ordered to be heard on any day of the noticed meeting. 1H: Empowering Effective Teachers: An Overview of Current Efforts to Support the Field
The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation have provided support across two related initiatives to improve teacher effectiveness: The Measures of Effective Teaching research project and the Intensive Partnerships to Empower Effective Teaching. This presentation will provide an overview of these two initiatives and the efforts of The College-Ready Promise, a consortium of five public charter school organizations in California that is working to improve effective teaching across their organizations to increase the number of college-ready students they graduate.
