The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing is the state agency responsible for ensuring that California’s educators meet professional standards for preparation, competence, and conduct. The Commission enforces professional standards, approves educator preparation programs, issues teaching credentials and permits, and investigates allegations of professional misconduct.
The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing’s communications office serves as the primary point of contact for media inquiries.
