California Department of Education’s educator class data and the Commission’s Educator credential data are compared in CalSAAS based on the educator’s SEID. The system outputs Exceptions based on this comparison.

The following actions are captured within the data system:

• LEA: Reviews Exception and provides Determination
• Monitoring Authority: Reviews Determination and verifies or investigates
• CTC: Collects assignment information for reporting
