Marshall Teacher Residency

Born out of Summit Public Schools and developed with the Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning and Equity, our program prepares diverse educators to lead the classrooms of tomorrow.
The Marshall Teacher Residencyopens in a new window, a one-year accelerated teacher training program, brings together student-centered instruction and anti-racist pedagogy to create learning environments that serve the whole child and meet the need of each individual student.
- LAUNCH YOUR CAREER with our one-year, accelerated residency, which places hands-on practice, mentorship, and peer collaboration at the heart of your experience.
- BUILD MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIPS with students alongside an experienced teacher.
- EARN A LIVING STIPEND with affordable tuition and access to reasonable loans and the Golden State Teacher Grant as you work toward your CA Preliminary Teaching Credential.
- RECEIVE PRIORITY WITH HIRING within our partner network, as well as personalized coaching and support to find the right fit teaching position!
