April is National Bilingual/Multilingual Learner Advocacy Month, a time to recognize the assets, needs, and achievements of bilingual and multilingual learners as well as the ongoing efforts to prepare highly qualified bilingual teachers.

Hundreds of educators are pursuing an administrative services credential through the Diverse Education Leaders Pipeline Initiative (DELPI) made possible by $10 million in state funding.

November marks Family and Community Engagement Month which recognizes that students whose families and communities participate in their education perform better academically, have higher graduation rates, and develop stronger social-emotional skills.
