- 2014 PTTP Report
Commissioners approved the 2014 PTTP Report to the Legislature during the December 11-12, 2014 Commission meeting. Funding for the PTTP is now folded into the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). The 2014 report includes a description of changes to the PTTP and program funding as a result of passage of LCFF legislation.

Assignment Monitoring Report 2011-2013
Education Code (EC) §44258.9 requires that the Commission on Teacher Credentialing biennially report to the Governor and Legislature the result of assignment monitoring for certificated employees in California as submitted by the County Offices of Education. The 2014 Assignment Monitoring Report includes data for California's lowest performing schools ranked in Deciles 1, 2 and 3 of the 2009 Base Academic Performance Index (API) for the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 academic years (excluding charter schools). Assignment monitoring data for certificated staff in all California public schools (excluding charter schools) is collected on a four-year monitoring cycle and will be reported to the Legislature in 2016.

Teacher Supply in California - A Report to the Legislature. Annual Report 2012-2013
AB 471 requires that the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing report to the Governor and the Legislature each year on the number of teachers who received credentials, certificates, permits and waivers. This report provides data collected by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (Commission) and addresses several questions regarding the supply of teachers newly available to teach in California classrooms.

This agenda item presents the passing rates for Commission-approved examinations over the past five years, 2008-2009 through 2012-2013. The purpose of each examination, the structure, the scoring process, the volume, and the first-time and cumulative passing rates are discussed in detail.

2012-2013 PTTP Report
Section 44393 of the Education Code requires the Commission to report on the status of the California School Paraprofessional Teacher Training Program. The 2013 report describes the current status of the PTTP in light of passage of the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) legislation.
