Yes, an application and fee is required.To verify completion the U.S. Constitution requirement, submit either an official transcript showing completion of a course (at least two semester units or three quarter units) in the provisions and principles of the U.S. Constitution, including a copy of the course description, or verification of passage of an examination in the Provisions and Principles of the U.S. Constitution given by a regionally-accredited junior college, community college, college or university.
I COMPLETED THE LEVEL I REQUIREMENTS FOR MY ADULT EDUCATION OR VOCATIONAL CREDENTIAL. HOW DO I OBTAIN AN EXTENSION ON MY CREDENTIAL?
There is no need to apply for this extension. Once the credential holder's employer receives the verification of completion of Level I requirements on form CL-787 from the Local Education Agency (LEA), the credential's validity period will automatically be extended for the remainder of the five-year period from the date of issuance of the credential.HOW DO I VERIFY THE COMPLETION OF ADULT OR VOCATIONAL LEVEL I REQUIREMENTS
