DO I NEED TO SEND AN APPLICATION AND FEE WHEN VERIFYING COMPLETION OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION REQUIREMENT?

Yes, an application and fee is required.

To verify completion the U.S. Constitution requirement, submit either an official transcript showing completion of a course (at least two semester units or three quarter units) in the provisions and principles of the U.S. Constitution, including a copy of the course description, or verification of passage of an examination in the Provisions and Principles of the U.S. Constitution given by a regionally-accredited junior college, community college, college or university.

I COMPLETED THE LEVEL I REQUIREMENTS FOR MY ADULT EDUCATION OR VOCATIONAL CREDENTIAL. HOW DO I OBTAIN AN EXTENSION ON MY CREDENTIAL?

There is no need to apply for this extension. Once the credential holder's employer receives the verification of completion of Level I requirements on form CL-787 from the Local Education Agency (LEA), the credential's validity period will automatically be extended for the remainder of the five-year period from the date of issuance of the credential.

HOW DO I VERIFY THE COMPLETION OF ADULT OR VOCATIONAL LEVEL I REQUIREMENTS

Once the credential holder's employer receives the verification of completion of Level I requirements on form CL-787 from the Local Education Agency (LEA), the credential's validity period will automatically be extended for the remainder of the five-year period from the date of issuance of the credential.

CAN I APPLY DIRECTLY TO THE COMMISSION FOR A CLEAR ADULT OR VOCATIONAL CREDENTIAL?

ARE APPEALS AVAILABLE FOR AN APPLICANT WHO DOES NOT COMPLETE THE RENEWAL REQUIREMENTS FOR A FIVE-YEAR PRELIMINARY ADULT OR VOCATIONAL CREDENTIAL?
