How do I apply for my Administrative Services Credential?
California Trained -- University Program
You must apply for your credential through the college or university where your administrative services program was completed.
California Trained - -SLLA
If you have achieved passing scores on the SLLA exam, you may submit your application directly to the Commission. This application must include all of the following:
- a completed application [PDF]
- verification of 3 years of experience
- application processing fees [PDF]
Out-of-State Trained - University Program or SLLA
To obtain the preliminary credential, you must submit all of the following:
- a completed application [PDF]
- any supporting documentation (i.e., transcripts, copies of out-of-state credentials, etc.)
- application processing fees [PDF]
- a copy of the "Request for LiveScan Service" form must be attached to the application packet as proof that fingerprints were taken and the fingerprint processing fees paid, or
Residents with an out-of-state address: You have the option of submitting two completed fingerprint cards (FD-258) in lieu of a LiveScan receipt. If submitting fingerprint cards, fingerprint processing fees must accompany the application packet in addition to the application processing fee. Fingerprint cards may be ordered by sending an e-mail to CAWOrders@ctc.ca.gov. This e-mail address is for ordering materials only. Credential questions sent to this e-mail address will not be answered.
