Prospective program sponsors
Submission Guidelines are available to assist program sponsors in the document preparation process.
In addition to the submission guidelines, a consultant from the CCTC is assigned to each type of program. Prospective program sponsors may consult the staff member for additional assistance.
Submission Guidelines for Initial Program Review of Educator Preparation Programs
General submission guidelines are provided in this document [PDF]. Program Handbooks describe the program submission process and suggestions are given for the type of information to include in the program proposal. In the event that there is a discrepancy in the number of copies (paper and electronic) between the Program Handbook and the Submission Guidelines, please follow the guidance in the general Submission Guidelines document. The Commission is seeking qualified subject matter educators [PDF] to review program proposals for the new English, mathematics, science and social science art, languages other than english, music, and physical education standards. Interested parties should respond by submitting a nomination [PDF].

Visitor parking spots in the Commission parking lot (against the building) are available on a first come first served basis; all numbered and lettered spots are reserved. There is two hour street parking around the Commission, but there are posted no parking days for street cleaning (tickets are expensive). Metered parking (10 hour for $4.00 in quarters) is available on 21st Street between Capitol and L Street, and L Street between 20th and 21st Streets. Additionally, covered parking is available on the north side of L Street between 20th and 21st for $5 for the entire day. Receipts are not required for reimbursement for parking under $10.00.
