Item I: Call to Order – Child Development Permit Advisory Panel (CDP AP) Chair Dr. Deborah Stipek will open the meeting.
Item II: Review of Previous Meeting – An overview of the activities and outcomes of the August meeting.
Item III: Content and Performance Outcomes – Commission staff will present, for consideration and discussion, an analysis of possible content and performance outcomes for the preparation of candidates for the Child Development Permit. The advisory panel will engage in facilitated activities.
Item IV: Learning from Research – Dr. Marcy Whitebook, Director and Senior Researcher at the Center for the Study of Child Care Employment (UC Berkeley) will present her most recent research related to the child care and education workforce.

Item V: Opening – CDP AP Chair Dr. Deborah Stipek will open the meeting. The advisory panel will review work completed on the previous day and set expectations for the morning's work.
Item III: Content and Performance Outcomes (continued) – Building on the previous day's work, the advisory panel will continue its activities and discussions surrounding content and performance outcomes for the preparation of candidates for the Child Development Permit.
Item VI: Streamlining the Process – Commission staff will present information on the process for issuing a permit including an overview of the Commission's Verification of Completion (VOC) process for programs that prepare candidates for a Child Development Permit.
Item VII: Next Steps and Future Meetings – A synthesis of the meeting outcomes and any necessary direction to the staff regarding next steps and agendas items for future meetings will be provided.
