Item I: Call to Order - CTC Executive Director Dr. Mary Vixie Sandy and CDP AP Chair Dr. Deborah Stipek will open the meeting with a welcome to the advisory panel, introductions, and an overview of the meeting agenda.

Item II: Charge to the Advisory Panel - Dr. Sandy will frame the work of the advisory panel, define its charge, and discuss its role in advising the Commission.

Item III: Panel Procedures - An overview of the general procedures that will be used to facilitate the advisory panel's work will be provided, including a review of the provisions of the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act that govern meetings of the advisory panel.

Item IV: Establishing a Strategic Vision - Staff will work with the advisory panel to develop strategic vision to guide the review of the Child Development Permit as directed by the Legislature.

Item V: Preparation and Licensure leading to the Child Development Permit- The advisory panel will receive an overview of the current requirements for earning a Child Development Permit, the status of current preparation leading to the Permit, and expectations for permit holders providing child care and development services in Title 5 authorized programs. The advisory panel will engage in whole and small group analysis of the permit to discuss state expectations for the preparation and licensure of this workforce.

Item VI: Opening - The advisory panel will review work completed and set expectations for the day's work.

Item V: Preparation and Licensure leading to the Child Development Permit - continued.

Item VII: Monitoring Quality in Preparation for the Child Development Permit - The advisory panel will review current quality assurance practices and consider potential options consistent with the Commission's statutory responsibilities for monitoring quality in preparation.

Item IIX: Closing and Next Steps - A synthesis of the meeting outcomes and any necessary direction to the staff regarding next steps and agendas items for future meetings will be provided.
