Applications and Training Information for the Board of Institutional Reviewers (BIR)

A Southern California training is being offered in August, 2013. We will post the location once all arrangements have been finalized. If you are interested in becoming a member of the BIR, please submit application materials to the following address: Teri Ackerman, Professional Services Division, Commission on Teacher Credentialing, 1900 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95811-4213.


On-line BIR Modules
Five modules must be completed prior to attending the on-site BIR Training. The 2013 modules will be available after Monday, February 18th. Please click for on-line training modules and handouts.

Information for 2012 Accreditation Activities

Please complete this electronic survey to indicate your availability and interests for 2012 CTC accreditation activities. We are asking for your interest in serving as an Initial Program Reviewer, Program Assessment reader, and/or site visit team member. Click here to submit information for 2011-12.
