Charter Schools

Employing charter/private schools are required to report allegations of misconduct pursuant to Education Code sections 44420 and 44940 when the educator "holds a position that requires a credential issued by the Commission." When reporting contract abandonment by credential holders, charter schools should identify whether they are organized under the auspices of a public school district.
