View Processing Times

The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing receives approximately 1,300 telephone calls and 900 email inquiries per week. Your assistance will help us provide the optimum service possible.

Please keep in mind that the same staff that answers email and telephone calls processes applications. Please wait until the recommended time has passed before contacting us. Applications are processed in the order in which they are received. Staff cannot search for pending applications or process applications out of order.

You may check your application status online and calculate the approximate processing time using this link. The information is updated weekly.

NOTE: New applications are not entered in to our computer system the day they arrive at the Commission office. Please allow at least 10 calendar days for your application status to display on our website.
