Use the educator page to complete your online recommendation from an authorized institution or agency. Applicants will receive an email notification when a recommendation is submitted. Individuals will be able to complete and pay for the application or return it to the institution or agency. The payment process must be completed within 90 days or the application will be purged and a new recommendation will need to be completed.
Direct Web Applications
Use the educator page if you are seeking to obtain the Certificate of Clearance or the Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate.
This process may also be used by applicants prepared In-State, Out-of-State and Outside the United States who do not require an institution's recommendation for the document. It has three steps: verifying qualifications by reviewing requirements, completing and paying for the application and submitting all supporting materials and coversheet by mail. If supporting documentation is not received within thirty days after online submission, the application will be denied and the application fee will be considered earned.* Any subsequent application submitted will require a new application fee.

Mantain Your Personal Profile
Create or modify your personal profile. Enter a change of address, contact information or name change at no cost. An email notification is sent to the educator when a name or email change is requested.

Application Processing Time Chart
Shows the current date of applications being processed. Applications are processed in the date order in which they are received. Please contact the Commission regarding your application status only if its submission date is prior to the date shown as being processed in the chart.
