This is the Annual Report Card on California Teacher Preparation Programs for Academic Year 2002-2003, as required by Title II of the 1998 Reauthorization of the Higher Education Act. It is the fourth annual report of its kind and includes a description of California public school teacher credentialing requirements. It also includes qualitative and quantitative information on teacher preparation programs, including pass-rate data for all examinations used by the state for credentialing purposes.

The bill requires the Commission to adopt regulations to clarify that an induction program is required for the multiple subject and single subject SB 2042 professional clear credentials. This agenda item proposes Title 5 regulations to clarify the requirement.
